フィンランド独立100周年を記念した展覧会「フィンランド・デザイン展」が開催されます。
本展では、独立以前の装飾芸術から現在までの100年に及ぶフィンランド・デザインを6つのセクションに分け、デザイナーを支え育ててきた企業や各時代の主要なデザイナーに焦点を当てて紹介いたします。
MAGISとも協働しているEero Aarnioは第4章 フィンランドデザインの“異才たち” The independent spirits of Finnish Design の中で、”時代にとらわれず独自性を貫いた異才たち”として紹介されています。magisのPuppyやPingyなども彼の代表作として展示されます。
Puppyの塗り絵のワークショップもあり、展覧会が終わる頃には様々なオリジナルPuppyが壁一面に貼られていることでしょう。

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Finland’s independence, this exhibition introduces Finnish design. Finland is renowned for its rich natural capital, with many famous lakes and mountains, and many Finnish designers claim their inspiration from these stunning landscapes. The exhibition divides the last century of Finnish design into six different periods, and focuses on the main themes running through each period.
